At Recoil Fit, we have redefined marksmanship training with the combination of low-impact fitness; with a focus on accessibility and efficiency for all levels, ages, and abilities. Our program utilizes dry fire exercises that can be performed anywhere, eliminating the need for traditional range settings. Whether you're at home, in the office, or traveling, you can engage in our structured educative routines designed to enhance fire arm abilities, physical agility, and overall wellness.
Fueled by a passion for saftey, fire arms, and wellness, our founder, Martin Early Fisher envisioned Recoil Fit as a solution for individuals seeking better marksmanship without having to pay for costly range visits; while sacrifice a great deal of precious time away from family, work, and other enjoyed activities. With his extensive expertise in fire arms, Martin has curated a program that combines the benefits of dry fire techniques with personalized coaching and support.
We hope you will join the Recoil Fit community and discover a new era of fitness—one that transcends physical boundaries and time constraints. Our program empowers you to achieve your fire arm and fitness goals efficiently, with training sessions that adapt to your schedule, abilities, and lifestyle.
Experience the future of fire arms and fitness with Recoil Fit—where innovation meets practicality, and every session brings your grouping closer together down range; while making you stronger and healthier.
Training Methodology Overview:
Recoil Fit is designed to accelerate shooting proficiency through dynamic dry fire training combined with rebounding. Students will develop their shooting skills while improving their vision and balance. Our program uniquely integrates self-correction based on visual feedback, allowing the body to intuitively adjust grip, posture, and hand positions to keep the sights aligned on the target.
The major difference between Recoil Fit and other traditional training methods is that detailed coaching is minimized. Instead, students are trained to naturally correct their form through visual control, empowering them to progress rapidly and build muscle memory without constant feedback from an instructor.
Rebounding while dry firing is the most comprehensive and engaging method for improving real-world shooting skills. It combines stress inoculation, physical fitness, reaction time, and target-focused shooting, providing better preparedness for real-life situations. Unlike traditional methods that often lead to misses and collateral damage, Dynamic Dry Fire offers fun, effective, and manageable stress training. With only 10 minutes a day, 3 days a week, shooters can see improvements in both their shooting skills and overall health, making it the best dry fire training method available.

Core Concepts of Training:
Training Objective:
Focus on developing balance control, target focus, and CNS conditioning to manage unpredictable body movement, recoil, and stress in real-world scenarios.
Incorporate added weight resistance and balance disruption (weight shifting) to enhance strength, stability, and the body’s response to physical stress.
Train the startle/fight-or-flight response by simulating real-world balance shifts and gun control challenges, which are not addressed by traditional dry fire or live fire.
Statistics and Real-World Context:
Falling (Loss of Balance) is the second leading cause of death and injury worldwide:
In 2013, unintentional falls caused 556,000 deaths globally (the second most common cause of accidental death).
In the U.S., falls are the leading cause of injury-related deaths for adults 65+, with 38,000 deaths annually and over 3 million fall-related injuries each year.
Primal Response:
• Sudden shifts in balance activate the startle reflex, triggering an immediate fight-or-flight response without conscious thought.
• These physiological responses are critical in real-life situations where balance shifts and stress are inevitable.
• Traditional dry fire/live fire training does not address or condition the body to handle sudden balance disruptions and the startle reflex, which are • common in real-world situations (e.g., self-defense encounters and tactical operations).
Training Techniques and Focus Areas:
Balance Disruption (Shifting Weight):
Shifting weight between feet while on the rebounder trampoline, inducing intentional imbalance and forcing the body to compensate, simulating real-world balance challenges.
Forces muscle activation, increases joint stability, and enhances the body’s ability to control movement under stress.
Helps replicate the primal response to losing balance, preparing the body to remain functional under duress.
Laser Tracking and Target Focus:
Visual focus remains on the target's exact aiming point, not the front sight or laser.
Tracking moving targets while controlling the laser movement on the target, maintaining constant focus on the intended point of impact.
Using the laser allows for immediate visual feedback on movement, simulating the tracking and shooting process during stressful, dynamic situations.
Weight Resistance and Strength Training:
Added resistance (weights) challenges the body’s ability to control the gun during movement, replicating the strength and stabilization required to manage recoil during live fire.
Muscle, tendon, ligament, and joint strength are specifically trained to prevent excessive movement and improve recoil management.
This conditioning replicates the demands of live fire recoil and stabilizes gun movement under stressful conditions.
Rebounder Mini Trampoline:
Dynamic movement on the trampoline simulates real-world instability while controlling the gun and maintaining target focus.
Involves muscular coordination to keep the laser inside the vital target zone, improving recoil recovery and steady aiming during physical motion.
Vision Tracking Drills for Moving Targets:
Drills that involve tracking moving targets while maintaining target focus on the exact impact point, even as the body moves and shifts weight.
Forces the trainee to engage their CNS, improving response time, decision-making, and gun control under dynamic conditions.
Benefits Over Traditional Dry Fire or Live Fire Training:
Traditional Dry Fire:
• Focuses only on static positions and target engagement, with no dynamic balance challenges or real-time body movement adaptations.
Traditional Live Fire:
• Involves recoil and movement but lacks emphasis on balance disruption, visual focus under stress, or the ability to manage the startle reflex effectively in high-stress situations.
Dynamic Dry Fire:
• Replicates real-world dynamics, including balance shifts, startle responses, and body movement, which traditional methods fail to address, especially in self-defense and tactical situations.
• CNS conditioning for recoil management, muscle stabilization, and target focus is enhanced in ways that traditional dry fire/live fire cannot achieve.
Key Takeaways:
Balance Disruption: Critical skill for real-world self-defense and tactical operations, as losing control of balance leads to a primal response, negatively affecting performance.
Dynamic Dry Fire (with weight resistance, balance disruption, and vision tracking drills): Offers specific training for handling unpredictable situations, unlike traditional dry fire or live fire, which do not prepare the body to manage sudden shifts in balance and the fight-or-flight reflex.
Training Builds Muscle Memory: Tendon and joint strength, and CNS conditioning necessary for controlling movement and gun recoil in high-stress environments, greatly improving self-defense preparedness.
